Durmiendo con las Estrellas

    ALEMAN

This section is dedicated only to those unknown, beloved dogs, that are used for hunting.

They earn our particular atention because most of them have been and are tortured, neglected until a slow and painful death, passing long times in parasite infested areas, under worst circumstances, cruelly strangled or suffocated, while somebody watches them in their death dance. Others are shot, or left to their own fate in ditches, holes, the forrest, ...esos desconocidos

Nevertheless, the other side of these animals, that nobody knows, is, that they are excellent companion animals, a little lazy, yes, since they quite like hanging out on the sofa, but loyal, tender, obedient, due to their infinite patience and their sweet way, their profound and sweet looks, ideal company for kids.
These qualities deserve to be known, and handed on, and not deprected and ignored.

A large percentage of these animals have been abused or abandoned by those who have used them.
Now they are waiting with their typical patience and their sweet looks for a home, a family, a little place in a heart, to give all the love that they carry within and can not express.
And are waiting to receive the affection they have never had.

And it surprises that they do not carry resentment towards the human being. Mistrust sometimes, but no grudges.
Those who have adopted a former hunting dog knows very well about the rewarding experience of having a friend with such peaceful behaviour, so suitable for playing with kids, for walks, silence, happiness, quiet, or these strange moments, when your looks cross, and say it all.

Maybe one day we will learn to love and accept them as companions, and we will find a place for them in our lives, to avoid that they have to end their days in a cage, or that they have to travel thousands of miles, looking for a place abroad, like many other pets, because here nobody wants them.

We would always prefer that they stay with us, not because these breeds are autochthonous, but because we are convinced that there are still excellent foster families for these truly beautiful animals, whose looks only need a little attention.
Of the rest, they will take care themselves.
